Let me just tell you…..I MUST return to this restaurant again. If not to try the 9 course or 15 course menu…at least to try the dessert tasting menu. I was actually quite depressed once the dinner came to the end. Words cannot describe how absolutely life changing it was! Ok, I am being somewhat dramatic, but really, if you appreciate good food or consider yourself a gourmand…you must visit Providence. You will thank yourself, thank me, and thank the earth for creating Michael Cimarusti.
I had one of the, possibly “the” most amazing meal of my life yesterday at Providence. Not only was it appetizing to my taste buds, it was truly an visually appetizing meal that I will never forget. We all decided to go with the 5 course tasting menu (90 per person sans wine). There is a 9 course and a special chef’s tasting menu which I think has 15 courses. Each course was so carefully prepared with amazing ingredients that I’m sure were the best quality possible. Here’s how the tasting menu went ( I wanted to let the photos speak for themselves, but it was too dark, so I will try to recollect as best as possible what was on the menu).
Amuse Bouche: Shot of Gin and tonic, bubble of Mojito, and Shot of Saffron Syrup and Fennel Soup
