Every year the Southeast Japanese School Center has their annual Pancake Breakfast and Boutique Sale for a fundraiser. This year, I was lucky and got to accompany the Kishiyama clan. We got there and there was this huge line of people. I think it took an hour to get to the front, thanks to Dean who waited for us and had to endure a bunch of annoying line cutters. I had a chance to buy some Japanese american crafts inside the boutique. I found a cute hashi holder, business card holder, and one of those floor wipers that look like a geta. The pancake breakfast was a whopping $3 per plate. It was actually really yummy. You get a scoop of rice, portugese sausage, scrambled eggs, and two of the fluffiest panckaes I've had recently. I was in breakfast heaven. I just love that picture of Evan and I...man he is photogenic! Afterwards, I spent the whole day with the Kishiyamas going to the park, Target, Walmart, eating a taco dinner that Joni made, and riding bikes to another park. As always, I have so much fun with them. It fulfills my biological ticking clock.
It was just as fun for us!!!!!! Mwah.xoxo, sw
