Marsha and Ryan's Wedding September 6, 2008

The Higas

Always a bridesmaid...never a bride! Jk. This was only my second time as a bridesmaid and it was a great experience. Marsha was so relaxed and laid back and super generous. It was truly an honor to stand up there by her side to support her and Ryan on their big day. And it was a gorgeous wedding with all the special details: the boba bar (the couples favorite drink), the modern vs nature theme of brown and green, the moss runner, the lego couple on the centerpieces, the candy containers on the table, and so on and so on.

The Bride Right Before Seeing her Future Husband

The day started at the Higa's beautiful time share on the Newport Coast, overlooking the ocean. We hung out getting our hair and makeup done and tried to keep the bride calm and entertained. Marsha looked absolutely gorgeous and skinny!

Doing our Favorite Thing: Playing Pasoy Right Before the Wedding

The reception/ceremony site was the ultra modern Orange County Museum of Modern Art. The layout was beautiful and Marsha and Ryan really went all out with the special touches. The reception was also outside and the food was delicious (not like most weddings). We had grilled artichoke (like at Bandera), macadamia nut crusted sea bass, and filet mignon. For dessert, they served chocolate covered strawberries and root beer floats along with wedding cake.

The Moss Runner and Beautiful Flowers

Congratulations Marsha and Ryan and I'm so glad I could be part of your special day!

  1. Cute! I love the BM dress! One of these days we should all get together in our BM dresses and make a girls night out of it.
