The girls and I celebrated the holidays and Marsha’s birthday today at Fraiche in Culver City. I had been about a year ago and it was just as I remembered, quite delicious. I shared the beet salad with Jennifer and Marsha of course ordered her raw oyster assortment. I ordered the Lamb Spezzatino with Ricotta Gnocchi and Gremolata. It was liked Braised Shortribs. The lamb just fell apart under my fork. The ricotta gnocchi was excellent as Fraiche makes their own fresh ricotta which is also included with the baby beets. Marsha had the monkfish and Jennifer had the Branzino en Papillote. Both tasted great. Fraiche is a great restaurant for friends and a great date place as well.
This must be a popular Whitney place. My brother-in-law is a cook there so I went for dinner, and ran into Diana, Ivy and Anita who were having dinner there as well. I supposed if we have a Wildcat reunion, we could just hold it there, since everyone would be there anyway.
Ever since watching Martha Stewart back in 1999, I've become addicted to learning about crafting, cooking, and entertaining. I love exploring new restaurants and traveling around the country/world looking for my next culinary adventure. Aside from trying to be the Japanese Martha Stewart, you can find me running, swimming, and at the gym trying to burn off all the food I love to eat.
