I have been on this French Macaroon kick lately. So on my trip to NYC, I did some research on the places that sell the best macaroons. For those of you who don't know, the french macaroon is different from the regular american macaroon. I had my first macaroon at Laduree (I'll post that one later) and have been in love with them since. I went to check out La Maison Du Chocolat in Rockefellar Center. I tried 5 different kinds (coffee, vanilla, raspberry, light and dark chocolate). They were ok....I am not the biggest chocolate fan, so I wasn't in love with them. I like the non-chocolate flavors like Pistachio. Nevertheless, I am glad I got a chance to try them there.
Ever since watching Martha Stewart back in 1999, I've become addicted to learning about crafting, cooking, and entertaining. I love exploring new restaurants and traveling around the country/world looking for my next culinary adventure. Aside from trying to be the Japanese Martha Stewart, you can find me running, swimming, and at the gym trying to burn off all the food I love to eat.
